Me Man Now: My Cutey Husband Fixin' Stuff.

So we just moved upstairs right. In the basement,  we didn't even bother putting our bed frame together because it was a cheapy from Ikea and it kept like, not doing it's job.
There isn't really any slats on the frame to put the mattress on, just like the outer frame and a plank of wood in the middle. NOT sufficient. The mattress kept falling through the frame.
Like in the middle of the night, one of us would move and the whole bed would just kind of collapse to one side.
You can't really help but laugh in that situation. And I must admit I am giggling now at the memories of many a night where one of us would kind of land on the other in our sleep and then we'd have to get up and fix the mattress because it fell again.
We put up with it for a while because hey, at least we had a bed... we'd been sleeping on an air mattress for the first 3 months.
Oh the great memories that come from being poor unknowing newlyweds.

But seriously, you need a bed that actually works.

SO.
Now we've moved into a much tinier place, we don't really have room to store a bed frame... and it doesn't really make for cute decoration either.
So after having it crowding our bedroom for the last two weeks, Samuel decided to do the manly thing and fix it.

With a giddy little smile and a skip in his step, we ventured to Ace Hardware and bought a couple of planks of wood.
He built the frame, measured the planks out right, chopped the wood, nailed the bits to the frame and BAM.

I just have the cutest husband ever.

*Forgive our still crazy untidy apartment... everything is slowly but surely finding its home...

Short story shorter,  no fear of any mattress collapsing because my manly man fixed me up a bed with a frame and everything. :)
